Focal Measurements – Updated for the Stellia!

Dekoni has produced a special limited edition pad specifically for the Focal Stellia, which we will compare here with the stock Focal Stellia pads. The Dekoni LTS emphasize the mids and midbass, with a bit more sense of “air” due to the lighter sub bass and extra sparkle in the 9 kHz region. Keep in mind that most instruments don’t play “fundamental notes” at 9 kHz (and the sibilants range is lower, around 6 kHz to 7kHz), so this mostly adds extra presence to the treble harmonics and should increase the sensation of soundstage image and instrument separation. Our office colleagues lucky enough to give them a listen have been enjoying an increased sense of instrument separation and placement imaging.
