Replacement Earpads for Sennheiser HD800 Series Headphones

I found the Dekoni hybrid ear pads for my HD800S headphones much deeper & thicker than the stock pads, and much more comfortable to wear.
This also changed the frequency response a bit, particularly in the upper treble, so I applied a new set of PEQ filters I found online for the Dekoni Velour pads, and modified some of the filters for my own liking.

2 Star for Service:
Yes, I was aware that I ordered an Open Box product, but I didn't expect the expensive HD800s pads to be also dirty, like quite bad - I had to wash them myself, they were also smelling bad. I think Dekoni should wash the open-box or returned products. This really matters!

4 Star for Product:
Second, I had to remove the inner material or fabric mesh (dust protector), which was always against my ears, and it was bothering me really badly. After I took it off, I wanna say that my ears are now floating in the air, making the headphones almost invisible to my ears! So unnecessary since HD800 already come with such a dust protector!

In the attached photo you can see the Dekoni pads installed with the original used HD800s pad for thickness comparison.

easy, fast, perfect product.

The sounds does change, but can be fix with eq.
Better to use it long term than stock pad just from the softness of leather pad.
