Dekoni SK mini

When you take soft, supple sheepskin and wrap it in dense, slow rebounding memory foam, you increase isolation, comfort and sound stage.

The sheepskin and foam wrap create a tight but comfortable seal on your head, even if you wear glasses, to ensure that our discerning listeners have a great headphone experience.

Dekoni FNSK mini

Dekoni Audio has introduced a new era in ear pads with the new Fenestrated Sheepskin ear pad.

The pad is designed to be cooler and more comfortable than any other pad and has the added benefit of helping to give the headphone a cleaner sound stage by reducing reflections of the direct sound before entering the ear.

Dekoni HYB mini

Dekoni Audio created this Frankenstein from the best of all its pads, and it represents the pinnacle of the Dekoni brand.

The Elite Sheepskin outer ring improves isolation and the velour face gives a soft, velvety touch.

Add to the inside of the pad Dekoni’s Elite Fenestrated Sheepskin and you get the most neutral sound possible.

Dekoni ELVL mini

Dekoni Audio spent a lot of time designing and refining this ear pad to be the most comfortable and best sounding velour pad available today.

By using a tighter velour, Dekoni made the ear pad react more like traditional leather so that you don’t lose the bass frequencies or isolation seen in most velour pads, all while retaining the comfort and coolness of velour.

Dekoni CHS mini

Dekoni Choice Suede is a soft, supple synthetic suede. Its sheen velour look and incredibly gentle feel on the skin is constantly mistaken for real suede.

With incredible durability and unmatched comfort, you may find you like it even more than our Elite Velour models. Dekoni Choice Suede uses the same ultra slow rebound memory foam from the Elite series.

Dekoni CHB mini

Dekoni Choice Hybrid is a combination of soft, supple synthetic suede and synthetic leather. Its sheen velour and leather looks and feels incredibly gentle on the skin.

Dekoni Choice hybrid has Choice Leather on the exterior, Choice Suede on the face which touches your ears, and Choice Leather with fenestration on the interior.

These with the DT 770 Pro X Limited Edition??? YES..

Honestly I'm not usually a big fan of Beyerdynamics for just casual listening/consumption.. But there's really not a lot of good options for closed backs.

I previously owned the DT 700 Pro X, and had Dekoni's Velour on those because the ONLY time I used them was for editing. Those pads on the 700 Pro X? Very sharp and perfect if you're needing something that doesn't need a lot of power, has a detachable cable, and is good enough for some editing.

So I heard/read a few reviews say the "Limited Edition" (with the popularity I think we'll see just how limited?? LOL) was "a bit too sharp" and even "More for work than than the 700 Pro X despite having the same driver.." So I was a little concerned to be honest, but I had mentioned some struggles and taste in headphones when speaking with Dylan who first recommended them.

Dylan, if you ever read this, THANK YOU.. I bought the 770 Pro X LE on your recommendation. Honestly my Dekoni pads and attenuation filters arrived 3 days sooner than the headphones LOL. But I got them in, did a baseline and thought "I honestly don't even agree with some of the reviews... to ME these are more of a consumer friendly V with extra sparkle than anything else I've heard from BD..."

Added the Dekoni Choice Leather having tried it myself on other headphones and having it highly recommended as well for the 770s.. Instantly cured ALL ear fatigue and brought in some warmth I've never heard in Beyerdynamics before. Hands down, my new favorite headphones at or under $300..

I did end up installing the thinnest layer of attenuation foam from the kit between the driver pad and the Dekoni silky screen that covers the driver just because some older/bad/low quality recordings with a lot of issues could still become fatiguing after a bit, but that fixed those as well. Again, at or under $300? I haven't heard anything be as close to perfect for ME PERSONALLY as this combo. I'm a big fan of the Sundara (I think most are?? LOL) and I've got these 770s right to a point where there's a TOUCH less sparkle than the Sundara, but there's a bit more to the bottom end than the Sundara as well..Kind of expected in open vs closed back, but genuinely surprised by the detail the 770s maintain with BOTH Dekoni's pads and foam.. (definitely more detail than the closed back Sundara's LOL).

Thank you again for the suggestion to look into the 770 Pro X LE, Dylan, and everyone else there who helped steer us towards picking the right pads, SO SORRY if we missed anyone just about to leave out, but grabbed one last shot before heading out.

Amazing

The original pads on my MMX300's was hurting my head, but after I saw Zeo's review on the choice leathers I got them. They are now super comfortable and I can wear them for hours. They do get ever so slightly warm but it doesn't really bother me

New leather pads for my AKG K340s...

I love them. They did everything I thought they would do to restore the ambience and sonic's of my K340s.
Very tough construction. My attempts to install them were too timid at first for fear of tearing them but they held up to the force it was necessary to get them over the flanged ear cups. Once they were on, and I was over the learning curve, everything good!.
