Your Privacy Choices

Your Privacy Choices

At Dekoni Audio, we believe you should have control over your personal information. This page explains your privacy rights under US state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, and other states — and tells you exactly how to exercise them.

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information

Dekoni Audio does not sell your personal information to third parties for money. Full stop.

However, under California law, certain uses of cookies and advertising pixels — such as allowing Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and similar platforms to use your browsing data to show you targeted ads — may be considered "sharing" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to opt out of this type of sharing.

Your Rights at a Glance

Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights:

Right What It Means
Right to Know Request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you, including the sources, purposes, and third parties we share it with.
Right to Delete Request that we delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to certain legal exceptions (such as completing an active order or complying with tax laws).
Right to Correct Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
Right to Opt Out of Sharing Opt out of the sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted ads on other websites and platforms).
Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information We do not collect or use sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our services, so this right is satisfied by default.
Right to Non-Discrimination We will not deny you service, charge you different prices, or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised any of your privacy rights.

How to Opt Out of Targeted Advertising (Ad Sharing)

You can opt out of the sharing of your data for targeted advertising at any time using any of the following methods:

1. Cookie Preference Center

Use our cookie consent banner to turn off Marketing cookies. You can access this at any time by clicking the cookie settings link in our website footer. Disabling marketing cookies will prevent our advertising pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) from tracking your activity on our site for ad targeting purposes.

2. Browser-Level Opt-Out

Most browsers support Global Privacy Control (GPC), a signal that automatically tells websites you wish to opt out of data sharing. Enabling GPC in a supported browser (such as Firefox or Brave) will be honored by our site. Learn more at globalprivacycontrol.org.

3. Platform-Level Opt-Out

You can also opt out directly through the advertising platforms we use:

4. Industry Opt-Out Tools

How to Submit a Privacy Request

To exercise your rights to know, delete, or correct your personal information, submit a request using one of the methods below. We will verify your identity before processing your request.

We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request. If we need additional time (up to 45 more days), we'll let you know before the initial 45-day period expires.

Identity Verification

To protect your information, we'll need to verify that you are the person whose data you're requesting. We may ask you to confirm details such as your name, email address, and order information. We will only use this information for the purpose of verifying your identity.

Authorized Agents

California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on their behalf. The authorized agent must provide written proof of authorization signed by you, and we may still require you to verify your identity directly with us before we process the request.

Residents of Other US States

If you are a resident of Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another state with a comprehensive privacy law, many of the same rights described above apply to you. You can submit requests using the same contact methods listed above. We will respond within the timeframe required by your state's law.

Do Not Track

Some browsers have a "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature that sends a signal to websites requesting that your browsing activity not be tracked. Currently there is no uniform standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. We use the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal instead, which we do honor. If you are concerned about tracking, we recommend using GPC or our cookie preference center.
