Earpads for AKG K601, K701, and More

I bought these for my Stax X9000. The X9000 is a niche headphone so there are few pads made just for it. I stretched these out really good before putting them on my X9000. They fit great and feel very premium.

I just purchased the Fenestrated Sheepskin for my Q701's and they are fantastic. its like I have a new pair of headphones. I had set them aside with the original pads for other headphones, and i really didn't enjoy the q701s on their own, only for gaming. but with the new pads i love the sound signature, its warm while still having a lot of clarity and bite and excellent soundstage presence.

Great replacements, the bass definitely has been boosted though (something I expected).

These earpads are effective, comfortable, and easy to install.

Bought these as a replacement for the AKG K702's and the stock pads were rounded with a material that really soaked up sweat and got kinda mangey quickly and lost its comfort in the process. The Dekoni velour pads instead of a rounded shape have a more square edge with a thicker cushion and provide more comfort than stock pads. The material also breathes a lot better than stock and doesn't get quite as warm and most importantly to me, does not greatly change the tuning of the K702's, which I really love the tuning of. There's maybe a little more low end sound around the sub-bass region, but largely it's the same tuning and sounds great. If you like the sound of the K702 stock, these are the pads to replace them with. Straight upgrade.
