very easy to install and are very comfortable

The pads are comfortable and soft to the touch with nice depth. The installation is slightly annoying as you have to stretch the fabric over and into the slot on my particular model, but nothing that would take more than 5-10 minutes. The only thing I could see potentially being an issue is that they are able to rotate on the headphone pretty easily, but nothing that would likely cause damage just a bit of annoyance. Overall great!

Bought for ath-m50x. Basic replacement pads. Very comfortable but let a lot more sound enter and escape, compared to originals.

Got these to replace the stock pads on my Sony MDR-M1's. Absolutely perfect fit. Nearly the exact same dimensions as the stock pads but slightly deeper which gives my ears more room so they don't hit the angled drivers in these, unlike the 7506, V6, MDR-M1ST, etc.

These also, (and one of my primary reasons for trying them), make wearing my glasses possible without completely destroying the sound by breaking the seal around my ears. They still break the seal, but not nearly as drastically. The tonal balance largely remains intact. Perhaps a slight bass boost(really apparent without my glasses), but they don't suffer loss of detail or alter midrange or high frequency reproduction in any significant way. Certainly not one that would make these objectionable.

I tried about 4 different pads on the M1's. These are the only ones I kept. Aside from picking up a little more lint, there is not one single criticism I have about them. I would love to try the Sheepskin or the Choice Hybrids at some point, but for now, I feel no need to do so.
